KATHARINA ROSENBERGER NAMED COMPOSER-IN-RESIDENCE AT QUALCOMM INSTITUTE
Associate Professor Katharina Rosenberger has been named the new composer-in-residence at the Qualcomm Institute. The two-year residency will encourage Rosenberger's ongoing composition work, for which she often seeks ways to incorporate science and technology.
Rosenberger follows composers Roger Reynolds, Rand Steiger and Lei Liang as the fourth Department of Music faculty member to earn this residency. To learn more about Rosenberger and her appointment, click here.
One of Rosenberger's ongoing projects, tempi agitati, will be performed by the vocal ensemble Neue Vocalsolisten on Thursday, December 8, 2016 in the Conrad Prebys Music Center Experimental Theater. Click here to learn more about the performance.
