ICAM DISCOVERS RECOMBINANT SERENDIPITY: MULTIMEDIA FEST RUNS JUNE 8 TO JUNE 12



  Cutting edge computer and multimedia projects art at the heart of this month's Recombinant Serendipity festival featuring ICAM (Interdisciplinary Computing & the Arts Major) and Media Major senior projects.

The festival opens Monday, June 8, with a 5 pm reception at Mandeville Gallery. Other highlights from the five-day event include an evening of Media Film Screenings Thursday June 11 at 6 pm in the Calit2 Auditorium, and Keynote Speakers Tana Sprague (June 10, 6 pm, Calit2 Auditorium) and Naut Humon (June 12, 1Σ0 pm, Conrad Prebys Music Center Experimental Theatre).

Thanks to visionary partnerships and collaborations among UCSD's Department of Music, Department of Visual Arts, Calit2, and CRCA (Center for Research in Computing and the Arts), UCSD is internationally renowned as a leading center for cutting edge work at the intersection arts and technology.
