- There is a chain of processes between physical events and
their perception by humans:
- generation of energy
- transmission of energy from event to observer
- reception and processing by ear/eye
- transmission of signals to the brain
- more processing: interpretation, formation of a representation
- Cognition: set of mental abilities and processes related to
knowledge: attention, memory, judgment, evaluation, learning,
understanding, remembering;
