Variable Length Circular Delay Line

• When the length of the delay line is expected to change over time, it is efficient to use a write (in) and read (out) pointer into a larger delay line.
• The delay is set by having the read (out) pointer ``chase'' the write (in) pointer by the desired sample delay.
