- Pitch is the characteristic of sound that makes it sound high or
low, or that determines its position on a musical scale.
- Though pitch is our perceptual response to frequency,
and in particular to the fundamental frequency, other
contributors include:
- intensity
- spectrum
- duration
- amplitude envelope
- presense of other sounds
