- If the signal is digitized and reconstructed using the same
sampling rate, the frequency and duration will be preserved.
- If reconstruction is done using a different sampling
rate, the time interval between samples changes resulting in
a change in
- overall signal duration,
- time to complete one cycle (period) and thus sounding frequency.
